Cellar management is done, now its time for #ChardonnayDay 2013

wine storage

The wine is all tucked away in their respective boxes 🙂

After a long day of sorting, cataloging, and storing, cellar management is now complete. Now, I just gotta make sure I keep track of everything 🙂 Like I said before, cellar management is tedious work and usually entails a casualty to the fingers….

I think I should’ve wore some gloves 😉

But at the end of the day, cellar management must be done!

Website Navigation Changes

I have made a few changes to the wine cellar list and how it’s view on the main page. Under the wine cellar list drop down, you’ll find two new sections: white wines and red wines. I made this change to improve navigation and access to my wine cellar list. For now, all of my dessert wines, ports, champagnes/sparkling wines, and beers will be listed on the master wine cellar list. I will make a separate navigation for those when I have more of those selections in the cellar.

#ChardonnayDay 2013

Not that I need a good excuse to open up a bunch of wine, but May 23rd, 2013 happens to be the 4th Annual #ChardonnayDay. So what better way to celebrate my hard work in the cellar than to invite some friends over to the cellar and open up a bunch of Chardonnay wines 🙂  I will select a few wines and pair them with a few cheeses and possibly a few light appetizers (if I have time).

The event will go from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Attendees are more than welcome to bring their favorite Chardonnay wines to share and/or a food item that pairs well with Chardonnay. If you need help with food and wine pairing suggestions, AllRecipes has some ideas.

Throughout the event, attendees will be encourage to talk about the foods and wines from the event and just have a good time! RSVP is required for this event and its free to attend!

Looking forward to seeing you all at this year’s Chardonnay Day Celebration. Should be a great time!
